In additional to all of the benefits
that can be gained from deploying GemaTech's BCMLITE
OPTION II unit, incorporation of GemaTech's SVRLITE
secure voice recording module provides the added
benefit of being able to voice record all of the
inbound and outbound calls to and from a conventional
office from the sanctity of a Carrier's (BT, COLT
Telecom etc) exchange both before an invocation and
also after the inbound calls have been re-directed.
In GemaTech's considered opinion,
the provision of network based products and services
- rather than customer premises based products
- provide for much more secure and resilient solutions
which protect against failure caused by third part
intervention - the cut telephone cable during road
works being a prime example. Network based solutions
also provide resilient storage facilities for those
mission critical voice recordings whereas customer
premises based storage servers are susceptible
to all sorts of damage as a result of fire, flood
etc.
For those companies that have
been seriously looking at deploying a secure voice
recording solution but have not yet done so, the
ability to locate such a product within the Carrier's
(BT, COLT Telecom etc) exchange provides a golden
opportunity to secure a truly resilient voice recording
solution which will not only record all inbound
and outbound calls made to and from a customer's
conventional office during normal working - but
it will also provide a seamless continuation of
recording inbound calls when these calls are being
re-directed by the BCMLITE following an interruption
of normal working.
Alternatively, if an end-user
customer has already successfully deployed a secure
voice recording solution in their conventional
office building because they are required to do
so to meet their particular industry's compliance
regulations, what use is a secure voice recording
system when the telephone cable to the premises
has been cut and all of your employees are being
forced to work from any number of alternative locations?
In this scenario, it can be readily appreciated
that having a back-up solution located in the safety
of the Carrier's exchange will provide for a seamless
and continuous recording of all calls passing through
GemaTech's BCMLITE unit following a business continuity
invocation.
A further application is where
a company's existing voice recording solution is
now obsolete and is no longer being supported by
the manufacturer or a company is simply looking
to avail themselves of the latest technology -
and is also looking to invest in a comprehensive
business continuity solution for their incoming
calls. Again, the deployment of a combined BCMLITE & SVRLITE
network based solution provides both economy of
scale and the most secure and resilient technology
base for your mission critical voice delivery and
resultant voice recordings.
